Jim is the news Sales Manager at Emballator Tectubes
Posted 2020-06-16Emballator continues the dedicated work of business development in close collaboration with its customers. Jim Johannesson is our new sales manager and, as it turns out, a packaging nerd of great measures.
“Tectubes has gained trust from many major brands and I look forward to helping both new and established customers in their growth.”
If anyone knows print, it is Jim Johannesson.
”I am raised within the graphic industry and worked with all kinds of different printing techniques for more than 20 years. I have worked for several large printing groups like Taberg Media Group and Elanders’ as project manager, sales manager and planning and production manager. I have also acted CEO for two printing houses and experienced how the industry weakened during the early 2000s.”
In 2013 he decided to take on the challenge of changing industry, focusing on corrugated cardboard. Within the Smurfit Kappa Group, Jim was the CEO of two subsidiaries selling everything from “brown boxes” to advanced offset printed packaging and displays. Before joining Emballator Tectubes, he worked as sales manager at Kartongbolaget. He lives in Viken in Southern Sweden with his partner and their dog. The family also includes two grown-up kids.
”I joined Tectubes because I think this kind of packaging is really exciting! The packaging solutions we are delivering to our customers are truly customized with a strong focus on print”, Jim muses, feeling that his solid background within the print and packaging industries comes in very handy in the dialogue with Tectubes’ customers.
“With my broad experience of different customers’ needs and processes, I want to support our customers in their decisions and contribute with added value. Since I have worked a lot with advertising agencies in the past, I also know how important it is to be able to engage with the agencies’ graphic designers to find the right solution for the customer.”
One of the most exciting challenges is the ongoing internationalization.
“We are already present on the international market but I believe that with our technical knowledge and extensive experience, Emballator Tectubes could find many new customers in Europe and globally.”
As part of the Emballator Group, Emballator Tectubes has extra impact, Jim says.
“We can act as the small, flexible company and still collaborate within the group offering complex comprehensive solutions. That is strength!”
