New tool for Emballators’ popular caps

Flip-Tops is one of the most popular caps for Emballators’ customers. To secure the supply Växjöplast has invested in a new production tool that increases the capacity.

The assortment of Flip-Top caps was made in collaboration between Emballator Växjöplast and Emballator Tectubes during 2020. The product assortment consists of three different diameters with two different designs, Classic and Soft-line, and two different hole sizes per version. The surface is matte or glossy. There is also a product line with warranty sealing bands with glossy surface.

“With this new tool we are not only securing the supply to our existing customers, but we are also increasing the capacity and improving our lead times. Our goal is to reach out with the fliptop wider in Sweden and international”, says Joost Bartels, Customer and Product Manager at Emballator Växjöplast.

The product family is carefully made with consideration to the customers’ need of product content, functionality, and design. The cap is easy for the end-customer to use and gives the product a nice and uniform impression.

“We are constantly working with greener alternatives, right now we are focusing on how to offer the fliptop in a fossil-free alternative”, says Joost Bartels.
