Emballator wants to expand within the packaging industry

The goal is set. Emballator wants to grow during the next years. The plan is to acquire companies within the packaging industry.

The strategy is based on two dimensions; acquire companies that are similar to the ones that already exist in the Emballator Group or find companies that offers packaging solutions in other material or in digital innovation.

“We are interested in solutions that can enable digitalization and automation to our products and develop our offer. We are not locked to any material, we want to strengthen our role as converter”, says Thomas Bergdahl, CEO Herenco AB (owner of the Emballator Group).

Why do Emballator want to expand within in the packaging industry?
“We believe that the importance of packaging will increase in the future. Both for transport protection and towards the end-customer with different kind of communication. The packaging industry is in the lead of sustainability and circular thinking and it’s exciting to be a part of that development.”

Herenco, the owner of Emballator Group, is a long-term owner that is responsive to the culture in each company. The Green bag, or the Herenco way, contains the group values and they are an important part of finding the right acquisition.
