Emballator expands the assortment of popular Long-neck tubes

Emballator has extended the assortment with a tube made for children. The product is based on the Long-neck tubes but is adjusted for a smaller amount of filling. This means that the products are suitable for medicine to for example small children.

“This tube with shorter neck than the original has endless possibilities. It’s suitable for medicine for children but also for other medicines or products for animals. This tube is also adaptable for medicine that is now produced as pills“, says Jim Johannesson, Sales Manager at Emballator Tectubes.

The tube is produced with injection moulding and comes in the size 3ml. The tubes are made for single use.

“This product is produced in a high-automatically production with very low human contact. No one is packing the products by hand and that increases the safety of the tube. We have high demands and continuously update our processes to follow the legislations.“

The long-neck tube has been a part of the assortment in approximately 30 years and is still an important product. The development of tubes continues at Emballator and focus is on how to develop tubes in sustainable materials.

“We are working on extending our offer of sustainable materials. We have green PE and PE mass balance, and we hope to be able to offer that for our Long-neck tubes soon”, says Jim Johannesson.
