Posted 2021-07-08Emballator Innovation Center adds an Innovation Technicians to the team. Jonatan Hofslagare strengthens the team with technical competence and an interest in developing packaging solutions for future generations.
Jonatan has just finished the Polymers Engineering programme at Yrkeshögskolan in Jönköping, Sweden. His master thesis was made at Emballator Lagan Plast and contained the assignment on how to use as much PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) as possible in the lid for paint and putty knife buckets.
“To work at Innovation Center is an amazing possibility to affect the future. I believe that the future packaging will look a bit different and it’s exciting to investigate which materials is possible to use for Emballators products”, says Jonatan and continues:
“My role at Innovation Center is great for me, there’s different things to do and I get to be responsible for the practical tests. I also get to solve problems and be creative. Together with Christian and Mats we are a great team that really complement each other.”
Beyond the Engineering programme Jonatan also has previous experience from the plastic industry with an education at Polymercentrum and work as an operator at Nolato Meditech.
With Jonatan the team at Emballator Innovation Center is complete, at least for now.
“We needed to strengthen the team with someone who can combine practical knowledge with testing and high material competence, and Jonatan was a great match. Through the master thesis and internship, we have been able to verify that the education in Jönköping has a high level of quality. That in combination with Jonatan personal characteristics to think outside the box, high interest and questioning today’s methods will be great use in the Innovation Center”, says Mats Jeppsson, Innovation Manager at Emballator.
