Emballator launches a monotube – 100% plastic free

Emballator offer products that reduce the environmental impact and that helps their customers to reach their sustainability goals. As a part of this Emballator now pre-launch a monotube prototype – and are looking for partners to continue the development.

“We believe in collaborations when it comes to innovation that can really change the market. Right now, we are working with a pilot case but are looking for new partners to commercialize the product and fully go to market”, says Tobias Lidevei, CEO at Emballator Tectubes.

The prototype is made of 100 % aluminium and is a 100 % plastic free tube. Aluminium is already a sustainable material thanks to it being recyclable forever, but this tube is even better. Since also the cap is made of aluminium there’s nothing that can interfere or affect the recyclability.

“The monotube is in 100 % aluminum and makes the recycling process easier and better. The tube has the same product features as an original tube and works for all our market segments. Both tube and cap have the same design as before.”
