We welcome Daniel Lundström – new Product development manager at Emballator Tectubes
Posted 2021-10-26What are your first impressions of Emballator?
“They are really good; quickly I got the feeling of a well-tuned and flat organization. There’s a lot of fun things going on and my thoughts are very much in-line with what the company and Tobias (Lidevei, CEO) thinks when it comes to product strategies”, says Daniel Lundström.
What is your primary role?
“It’s to drive product and R&D projects. It’s about new materials, new functionality, and new manufacturing methods. A lot of my work will be affected by sustainability.”
Shortly, can you tell us about your background?
“I have a masters in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Design from Lund and I’ve previously been working as a project manager, designer and lead engineer at for example Volvo trucks, Bombardier and Kongsberg Automotive.”
How would you describe yourself?
“I’m extrovert, creative and detail-oriented – for better or worse. I’m relatively structured thanks to my engineering background.”
Our values are important for us, which one or ones do you carry with you in your work?
“I think all of our values are important and healthy; to me they are key to building sustainable business as well as a sustainable future. It’s clear that these values are important for what we do and how we do it, and I think that’s great.”
Finally, what are you doing in your spare time?
“Spending time with family and friends as well as working on our house and my old car. The house is from the 1950s and the car is a from the 1980s, but I enjoy the challenges they both bring.”
