Emballator Växjö puts in another gear – invests in new production facilities

New production areas and an even more efficient production flow. That’s the goal as Emballator Växjö puts in the next gear.

As the Emballator Groups experts in specialty closures, Emballator Växjö’s products are in great demand by customers. After several successful projects, the business has a very high degree of automation. Among other things, a super effective AGV-solution with driverless trucks that maintain the flows between production and the packing central.

“But we’re a bit cramped. Therefore, we will continue to optimize our flows as we expand the production area”, says Roger Davidsson, Production manager at Emballator Växjö.

The purpose is to create opportunities for expansion and increased competitiveness.

“With better flows and freed capacity, we can create increased customer value and sharpen our offer.”

In the first step, a smaller storage space about 200 square meters is released for production.

The assembly machines that are currently individually placed among the injection mold equipment will be transferred to the new production area, contributing to better flows and more efficient staffing.

The next step in Roger Davidsson’s vision is to convert the company’s more than 500 square meters of warehouse into production space. This is to enable the purchase of more injection molding machines and further increase capacity.
