Emballator Växjö strengthens expertise in child resistant closures
Posted 2022-02-08Emballator Växjö continues to invest in unique expertise in child resistant caps. Design and development engineer Emil Karlsson has the task of supporting customers in their work with certificates. Here are some of his expert advice.
As one of the Nordic region’s leading players in the development and manufacturing of caps, Emballator Växjö has extensive expertise in child resistant closures.
“About ten years ago, we realized that child-protected caps were a segment where customers needed extra support and guidance. A lot of demands were made on the products by the authorities, at the same time as we felt that there was potential to create even safer products that also lived up to Emballator’s core values”, says Bo Nilsson R&D Manager at Emballator in Växjö.
The result is the Emballator Academy, where child resistant is a recurring topic that many customers want help monitoring.
“It is the customers’ responsibility to maintain a good level of validity of the certificates and we are happy to contribute with our expertise and to support them in their work”, says Bo Nilsson.
Design and development engineer Emil Karlsson supports customers in close collaboration with technical sales’ representative Daniel Strangnefjord.
“I will help with advice and expertise when our customers are developing a new packaging or are modifying existing ones. We will also help them with a friendly reminder to review their certificates and keep them updated”, explains Emil Karlsson:
“Our sales and development departments have a seamless collaboration in order to offer customers answers to technical questions and to carry out necessary tests. If it turns out that an existing packaging needs to be modified or replaced, we are experts in producing customer-specific special packaging.”
