“Great first impressions. The team have gone out of their way to welcome me and spend time explaining their roles and responsibilities. The manufacturing operation was a real eye opener, as it is my first experience of the art of can making. I will never look at a can, pot, and pail in the same light again!”
What is your primary role?
“My primary role as a Sales Account Manager is to develop revenue opportunities with existing clients, as well as targeting new business.”
Shortly, can you tell us about your background?
“I am a successful, qualified, and motivated professional with 33 years ‘hands on’ management experience gained working at some of the UK’s premier print, direct mail, print management, postage, and transactional/omni channel communications organisations, as well working ‘client side’ in procurement.
I have worked across a variety of senior rolls during my career, with a focus on business development, and account management. Account Management…progressing from account executive to account manager, and to account director. Sales…progressing from technical sales support to sales manager, and to sales director.”
How would you describe yourself?
“Very tall! Honest, straight forward, hardworking, and passionate.”

Finally, what are you doing in your spare time?
“Married. Twenty-five years! Four children (no tv), one working at a solicitors, two at university (one studying illustration, and the other history), and one at high school. My interests include cycling, gym, hiking, music, printing, books, social history, and endeavoring to keep my children entertained (endless and thankless!). Represented both school and county at cricket and athletics (a little while ago now).”
