We welcome Magnus Jacobsson – Sales and Marketing Manager at Emballator Mellerud
Posted 2023-06-13What are your first impressions of Emballator?
“That it is a strong brand in the packaging industry! I experience Emballator as fast-paced and forward-looking, an exciting growth strategy with a stable ownership structure that supports the organization. I have already met many driven and talented employees around the Emballator group and there is a lot of knowledge that we can use to help and contribute to our customers’ goals.”
What is your primary role?
“I see my Sales and Marketing Manager role as important for Emballator’s growth journey forward. There is a lot happening in the market with new trends in different segments and new needs from customers. Perhaps my most important task will be to create a sustainable situation and the right conditions for my team, which in turn means that we maintain our position as a reliable, committed, and safe partner for our customers.”
Shortly, can you tell us about your background?
“My background since about 20 years ago has been entirely about market issues and relationship sales within, above all, the truck industry and the construction machinery industry, where I worked with strong brands both operationally as a salesperson and a leader.”
How would you describe yourself?
“I describe myself as a “curious market economist”, I like to learn new things and love meeting people to solve challenges. It’s great to see others grow, there’s an inner glow in everyone that’s fun to bring out.”
Our values are important for us, which one or ones do you carry with you in your work?
“It is our cornerstones Community, Customer Focus, Employees and Profitability in combination that are most important, all ingredients are equally important to be a sustainable company that can grow forward.”
Finally, what are you doing in your spare time?
“Like many others, I like to move and keep my body moving, preferably longer trips on cross-country skis or bicycles. There will also be a round of golf when time permits. My family and I like to rest between laps outside on the summer cottage.”
