Emballator supports MathivationPosted 2023-11-28
Emballator has a strong desire to be an active part of society and strives to contribute to the education and development of the next generations. We are therefore proud of our partnership with Mathivation, which is now active at both Stenbockskolan and Ätradalsskolan in Ulricehamn.
The Mathivation initiative started over ten years ago with a focus on increasing young people’s interest and confidence in areas such as mathematics and technology. This initiative is aimed at students in grades 7-9 and has now established itself in seventeen schools across Sweden.
Mathivation offers, among other things, “I Don’t Get It” courses and encourages students to hold their own lessons, for example, for intermediate-level students. Their commitment and pedagogical methods to inspire students are incredibly inspiring to witness and are truly effective.
“For us at Emballator in Ulricehamn, it feels very meaningful and important to support this initiative. Year after year, we see how their work lifts and helps students build their confidence in these areas. That’s why it’s feels so gratifying that Ätradalsskolan has also joined the partnership this year, so now we have two schools in the Ulricehamn municipality actively participating in the initiative,” says HR Manager Ulrika Andersson at Emballator Metal Group.
Through our collaboration with Mathivation, we at Emballator can contribute meaningfully in both short and long term to the development of our next generation and strengthen their position in the job market in the future. This truly creates a win-win situation for all parties involved.Back to news
