Introducing Pail to Pail (P2P)
Posted 2024-05-31At Emballator, we are excited to present a transformative initiative driving us into a new era of sustainability – Pail to Pail (P2P). This innovative solution caters to those seeking more sustainable options for painting and chemical storage. In collaboration with van Werven, we’ve established a plastic loop that transforms recycled plastic pails into new pails.
Pail to Pail, signifies our dedication to providing carefully crafted pails made entirely from post-consumer recycled pails sourced from Swedish recycling centers. This commitment reflects our pursuit of sustainability without compromising quality.
The efficient recycling and production procedures, which form the foundation of P2P, ensure a substantial reduction in our carbon footprint. Notably, Pail to Pail achieves an impressive 80% CO2e reduction compared to conventional pails made from virgin plastic.
The P2P products are designed with versatility in mind, and these pails cater to a broad spectrum of applications, from the storage of chemicals to paints. The high-detail finish and thoughtful construction ensure easy handling and optimal protection for your stored materials. All pails are engineered for space efficiency, easy stacking, and convenient transportation. The lightweight yet mechanically robust design guarantees easy handling while maintaining the highest product safety standards.
Throughout the meticulous development of Pail to Pail, we’ve maintained an ongoing dialogue with several of our valued customers, fine-tuning the process to meet their sustainability goals. One of the early adopters of this concept was Saint-Gobain, who embraced the idea from the start.
“The circular-loop system of Pail to Pail is impressive. From production to recycling, Emballator’s commitment to sustainability is evident at every stage. This initiative aligns perfectly with our own commitment to environmental responsibility, and we are proud to partner with a company that shares our values and prioritizes sustainability without compromising quality”, says Christian Borgenfalk, Sustainability Manager at Saint-Gobain.
As we move forward with Pail to Pail, our commitment to sustainability and quality remains steadfast. Our Key Account Manager, Jim Åhman of Emballator Lagan, emphasizes:
“Our Pail to Pail initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability and quality. These pails stand as a testament to our dedication to performance and responsibility, showcasing that environmental consciousness and product excellence can go hand in hand.”
