Meet Kerstin Claesson – Quality Engineer at Emballator

At Emballator, Kerstin is a key figure in quality and environmental matters. She has a broad range of responsibilities that encompass everything from administrative tasks to strategic quality work, each carefully calibrated to ensure that the company can deliver products of the highest standard. With a wide spectrum of responsibilities, Kerstin navigates her days with impressive efficiency and precision.

Her days start early, with a morning round in the production and some random checks, setting the tone for the day. Then it’s time for meetings and correspondence, various administrative tasks, and strategic planning that lay the groundwork for the company’s quality work.

“My role as a quality engineer spans a range of different responsibilities, from handling chemicals to conducting internal audits and improvement projects. Every day is a new challenge that requires flexibility and precision,” says Kerstin.

Kerstin’s journey at Emballator has been one of continual development and adaptation, where she has had the opportunity to delve into areas that interest her most, such as workplace environment and safety. Over the years, her efforts have led to noticeable improvements, particularly in chemical management and workplace safety issues. Her contributions to improving the company’s processes and safety measures have made her a central figure in the department and a valued colleague.

“The best part of my job is when we, as a team, manage to solve complex quality issues. It’s a true joy to see our work make a real difference for the company and our customers,” says Kerstin.

Outside of work, Kerstin is also a person with many interests and a lot of dedication. As the daughter of a gardener, she has green fingers and enjoys being among lush plants and flowers. But her love also extends to animals and nature, something reflected in her commitment to community projects and volunteer work.

“I believe in actively contributing to society and the environment, both inside and outside of work,” says Kerstin.

It is this diversity that makes Kerstin such an appreciated and versatile individual, both at work and beyond.
