Meet Samuel Törngren – Machine Technician at Emballator

In the factory at Emballator in Växjö, there is a person who is more than just a mechanical technician. His name is Samuel, a passionate problem-solver with a heart of gold and a mind for technology like few others.
Samuel is one of those who keeps the machines running smoothly, quite literally. His day always starts with a brief morning meeting with colleagues where the day’s plans are laid out. He approaches the day with a mix of anticipation and curiosity, ready to face whatever challenges may arise.
“Since I started here in May 2023, I’ve developed a lot. In the beginning, I worked closely with my colleagues, but now I work more independently and learn new things every day,” Samuel shares.
He explains that the most enjoyable aspect of his role is the variety and the opportunity to work alongside fantastic colleagues. Being part of large projects and witnessing the results of their collective efforts motivates him and instills a sense of pride.
Throughout the autumn, they’ve worked on several major projects and installed new machines, which Samuel describes as a true team effort requiring both technical expertise and collaboration.
“I’m proud that we at Emballator value courage and the ability to keep our heads cool. Knowing that my work matters to the company gives me a sense of satisfaction,” Samuel says.
He expresses his desire to continue developing and learning new things while remaining open to new opportunities and challenges. His focus is on making the most of each day, both at work and outside.
In his free time, Samuel enjoys tinkering with cars and computers, as well as spending time with loved ones. His future plans include starting a family and owning his own house. One thing few people know about Samuel is that he enjoys opera and is quite skilled at baking.
Samuel is someone who lives in the present and takes each day as it comes, while also looking forward to the future with anticipation and enthusiasm.
