Zeljko Marusic from Emballator Växjö recently participated in an inspiring event organized by Linnéuniversitetet, held at Icon with Sigma Technology as the host. The atmosphere was vibrant, with great enthusiasm and curiosity from all participants. The discussions flowed freely, and it was clear that everyone was eager to explore the various topics.

In his presentation, Zeljko shared how Emballator Växjö uses AI to predict deviations in production. He explained how they identify areas such as daily tool maintenance, quality control, orderliness, and order changes, where AI can help foresee and manage potential issues. This innovative approach has proven to be highly effective and has the potential to revolutionize their work processes.

Zeljko also showcased the company’s MES system, describing how they previously worked and how they plan to work in the future with the new insights and tools they have developed. This sparked great interest among the 30 participants, who came from various companies within Kronoberg and Kalmar counties.

The biggest interest among the participants was how Emballator Växjö collects and transforms data to visualize future deviations in a clear and useful way. They were also very curious about how the company maintains its data to ensure its quality and relevance.

Although the participants had good knowledge in data and IT, they were impressed by Emballator’s understanding of how data and AI interact. Many of them had no prior insight into how operations at one of Emballator’s companies could look, making the presentation particularly educational and inspiring.

Zeljko Marusic’s presentation was a success and clearly demonstrated how Emballator Växjö is at the forefront of integrating AI into their production processes. It was a day filled with learning and inspiration, leaving all participants with new insights and ideas to take back to their own businesses.
