Meet Robin Hallqvist, Product Manager at Emballator Lagan
Posted 2025-03-27Emballator are pleased to introduce Robin, our dedicated Product Manager responsible for our bucket range. Robin plays a key role in developing new products, materials, and colors, as well as driving various product-related projects.
Robin joined Emballator Lagan in 2015 and has seen his role evolve significantly since then. When he started, the position of product manager didn’t exist, but he took on this role a year ago. What he enjoys most about his job is the ability to influence our product range and initiate new projects. He can come up with an idea or see a competitor’s product and then implement it with us, but better, of course.
One of the most interesting projects Robin has worked on is “Plastic handle for Emsafe,” where steel handles are replaced with plastic. This project has involved new tools, machines, and robots, making it a comprehensive and exciting initiative.
Robin believes that analytical skills and engagement are crucial for success in his profession. He also strives to develop further in the area of PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastics, a rapidly evolving field.
One of Emballator’s values that Robin holds dear is “Customer focus.” According to Robin, the most rewarding aspect of working at Emballator is that he continues to develop and learn a lot, even after nearly ten years. He is optimistic about the future at Emballator, especially if we can keep up with developments in PCR, monomaterials, and new innovations that save the environment.
“The most fun part of my job is that I can influence how our product range will look and which new projects we can start.”
A bit about Robin himself: He lives in a villa outside Ljungby with his wife (who also works at Emballator) and their son, and they have another child on the way. Robin has a background in the energy program and has studied geology and drilling. Professionally, he has experience as a traveling fitter, HVAC technician, and in drilling before joining ELAB. In his free time, he spends time with his family, follows Formula 1, and plays golf.
We are proud to have Robin on our team and look forward to continuing to grow together with him!
