Posted 2025-07-03
We are pleased to introduce Daniel Bäck, one of our most dedicated employees at Emballator in Mellerud. Daniel has been with us for nearly 19 years and has progressed from machine operator to foreman, a role he performs with great skill and dedication.
Daniel works in a 5-shift system in production. During nights and weekends, when production managers are not present, Daniel, as foreman, is responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly. He also has personnel responsibility in the blow moulding hall during these times. The rest of the time, he works as a machine operator. Daniel’s workdays are very varied depending on the time of day. In addition to being a machine operator, he regularly takes samples of the produced products and inspects them. He performs tests on UN-approved products, which involves filling a container or bottle with water and putting it under pressure for a certain period. Drop tests are also conducted on the products.
Daniel started as a machine operator and had, over the years, continued his education to become a setter and team leader. His role has since transitioned to solely being a team leader, a position he greatly enjoys. In addition to his strong technical skills and deep interest in technology, he believes it is important to understand others’ problems and to listen to people.
Daniel strives to further develop his leadership skills, something he sees as an important part of his future at Emballator. One of Emballator’s core values, “Warm Heart,” resonates deeply with Daniel and reflects his care and commitment to his wonderful colleagues.
“Helping employees grow and seeing them realize they’re getting better at their jobs is the most rewarding part of my work.”
Daniel has an impressive background both professionally and personally. He started working early in life and acquired his technical expertise at Emballator. He is the chairman of the IF Metall union at work and has served as a part-time firefighter for 14 years. In his personal life, his biggest interests are his family, working out, padel, and strength training. He also helps run a local gym.
Daniel’s future dreams include having more time to ride his motorcycle, moving to his parents’ farm, and buying a house or apartment in a warm country. Other interesting facts about Daniel is that he has played in the Swedish Poker Championship in Malta and has a strong interest in whiskey and cigars.
