Meet Åsa Svensson, an Inspiration in Sales and Customer Support

Åsa Svensson is a fantastic asset to Emballator in Ulricehamn, where her commitment and positive attitude make a difference every day. As Customer and Sales Support Manager, she ensures that our customers always receive the best service. She handles a wide range of inquiries from both existing and potential customers, registers orders, and provides information on delivery dates and prices. She also maintains daily contact with production planning and the logistics team to follow up on order flow and ensure everything runs smoothly.

 

“My job is fun, varied, and challenging, especially when it comes to solving urgent delivery needs,” says Åsa, who starts her day by prioritizing urgent emails and communicating with both customers and colleagues.

 

Flexibility and accuracy are two of the most important qualities in this role, according to Åsa. She emphasizes the importance of being able to switch focus quickly, handle unexpected situations, and see opportunities for development in times of change. She would love to spend more time on creative tasks and is inspired by the creative projects she has previously participated in.

 

For the first seven years, Åsa worked in reception and the finance department before moving into customer and sales support. During her time here, she has been involved in several exciting projects, including developing the webshop, designing trade fair cans, and participating in photo projects for brochures and the website. She has also been active in project groups for staff events and served on the board of Herenco’s employee foundation.

 

Åsa is originally from Rånnaväg but has lived in Ulricehamn since she was 21. She lives with her partner and has two adult children and one grandchild. She has a long professional background as a receptionist at Ulricehamns Tidning, Hotell Bogesund, and Seger Europe before joining Emballator. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing spinning and strength training, and taking bike rides and walks. She has a great interest in music, interior design, fashion, and film, and likes to relax with an audiobook. She hopes to learn more Spanish and travel more. She also has a hidden talent for remembering song lyrics, making her a valuable member of any music quiz team.
