Welcome Peter Thorpman – New CFO at Emballator Group

We are pleased to announce that Peter Thorpman has joined Emballator Group as our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Peter will lead our financial strategy and operations, supporting Emballator’s continued growth and long-term ambitions.

 

Peter brings over two decades of experience in finance and operations, with a strong international background and deep expertise in the automotive sector. Most recently, he served as Director and Business Unit Head of SKF Seals at SKF Group, where he had full P&L responsibility for a global business unit with more than 4,000 employees and a turnover exceeding 7 billion SEK. During this time, he successfully managed 15 factories worldwide, led strategic mergers, and completed an acquisition.

Prior to this, Peter held several senior roles within SKF Group, including Business Area Controller for Industrial Units and Director for SKF Cooper Bearings and Power Transmission, overseeing multiple business units and driving operational excellence across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

After living in Chicago for three years, he moved back to Sweden and now reside in Åmål with his wife and two children.
