Emballator’s Commitment to Skills Development and the YH System
Posted 2026-01-26
At Emballator, we are proud to actively support the development of future talent within the packaging industry. Our industry is evolving rapidly, driven by increasing demands for sustainability, circularity, material expertise, logistics efficiency, and international communication. Meeting these challenges requires education that is closely connected to real industry needs and future professional roles.
We are therefore pleased to have participated in this year’s YH (Higher Vocational Education) applications, where all three programs we supported have now been approved:
- Packaging Developer (remote) – Nackademin
- Polymer Specialist – Yrkeshögskolan Jönköping
- Packaging Engineer – Packaging Solution Engineer, Environment & Sustainability – Yrkeshögskolan in Älmhult
With program starts approved for 2026, 2027, and 2028
These are fantastic announcements — not only for the educational providers but for the entire packaging industry. The demand for broad and sustainability‑focused expertise is higher than ever, and the Higher Vocational Education system plays a crucial role in ensuring companies can recruit the right competence as requirements continue to rise.
Mats Jeppsson, who represented Emballator throughout the application processes, has contribute with expertise, industry insights, and letters of intent, and helped make these important programs possible.
We look forward to continuing our contribution — as a partner, LIA (internship) host, guest lecturer, and industry collaborator — and to actively shaping the packaging competence of the future.
Together, we are building the foundation for a sustainable, innovative, and competitive industry.
