Emballator has a long and eventful history. Below are some of the most important milestones in the company’s history.

1975 Ulricehamns Bleck acquired by Herenco.

1983 Emballator Lagan acquired by Herenco.

1989 Emballator Mellerud acquired.

1990 Emballator Växjö acquired and Packgruppen established.

1997 Emballator Group established.

1998 Emballator establishes operations in the UK, trading under the name Emballator Packaging UK.

2011 Emballator Lagan wins the Swedish Lean Award.

2013 Emballator Lagan acquires Bra Plast i Vittsjö AB.

2014 Emballator acquires Tectubes and Printal, thereby incorporating tubes into the product portfolio.

2015 Emballator acquires Wexiö Maskinautomation (Wema) and PGP, which is merged with Wema.

2015 Emballator Plastics & Innovations established.

2017 Emballator acquires Metalpak.

2022 Emballator Innovation Center opens.

2023 Emballator Mellerud acquires Europak Oy

2024 Emballator Metal Group acquires Avez SAS
