Bottles and cans for chemical engineering products, pharmaceuticals and food, in standard formats or tailored to customer needs, comprise core operations at Emballator Mellerud. In recent years the company has also attracted a great deal of attention for its innovative sports bottles.
In 2023, Emballator Mellerud completed an acquisition of Europak in Finland, a unit that, although currently organized under Mellerud, operates as a distinct entity. This acquisition has further bolstered the company’s presence and capabilities in the market, providing them with the opportunity to expand their services and products to a broader customer base.

Emballator Mellerud has specialist expertise for fulfilling the strict hygiene requirements of the pharmaceutical and food industries. Type-approved packaging for hazardous goods is one of the company’s key areas.
A modern, in-house printing facility ensures that our decorative finishes are of the highest quality. The plastic that we use is polyethylene (HDPE), which can be recycled or sent for energy recovery.
Sports bottles
We have developed, designed and produced sports bottles since 1983 and we are Scandinavia’s leading producer. They are used at workplaces, at the gym and by the stars in the biggest sports arenas. This makes the sports bottle an attractive, brand-strengthening product.
