At Emballator Innovation Center we are developing the packaging of tomorrow.
Our Innovation Center is located in Ljungby, Sweden, and we have access to process equipment for injection molding, blow molding and extrusion as well as measuring equipment for chemical and mechanical tests. Here are experts in polymer technology and plastic conversion who, together with experienced project managers, evaluate new material solutions and solutions for existing applications.
Initially, we focus on packaging for food, paint, and chemistry, as well as for the pharmaceutical and petroleum industries.
The Innovation Center is run in collaboration with all companies within the Emballator Group.

We have always loved the environment in which we operate, where life goes on between invaluable forests, lakes, and rivers. But the alarm clock that rang louder and louder was not a hint about another day at work. Instead, it was an alarm signal for an awakening around the climate changes that are taking place.
The need for a higher pace of innovation and more sustainable solutions created an unwavering will to place all our actions in a larger context. We decided that there was only one way to go – to challenge all the old truths and the established ideas, in a way that they had never been challenged before.
Good packaging is not good enough.
The vision was an arena where we can gather all our strength and aim for the packaging solutions of the future. An arena where our specialists have their eyes open for everything that can create new values for our customers, for us and for the environment.
Our vision has now become a reality at Emballator Innovation Center.
Groundbreaking material tests, improved processes and innovative designs are performed here. Waste and environmental footprints are reduced. Properties and durability are improved. The path from idea to reality becomes shorter.
The clock is still ringing. Not to wake us up, but as a reminder to hold on to the vision and continue our way forward. We develop packaging solutions. But above all, we focus on delivering the future you dream of.
