Emballator Increases the Share of Recycled Plastic Without Compromising Quality

At Emballator, we believe it is important to continuously work towards a more sustainable future. Recycled and bio-based plastics play a crucial role in the transition towards a more sustainable society.

To reduce our carbon footprint and comply with PPWR, we are proud to share our commitment to including more recycled plastic in our product range. Using recycled plastic instead of virgin plastic has numerous environmental benefits. It reduces the demand for raw materials and thereby decreases greenhouse gas emissions.

We have increased the share of recycled plastic in our packaging from 2021 to 2024 by 14 percentage points. We are not satisfied with this and continue to work diligently towards our goal of having 80% recycled plastic where possible by 2030.

Emballator not only aims to increase the amount of recycled plastic but also to continue ensuring the high quality of the packaging we deliver.

We are therefore proud to offer cosmetic tubes that contain recycled plastic without compromising consumer health. Emballator Innovation Center has developed material quality and obtained third-party certification approved for 52% PCR in all types of cosmetic packaging. Products with this material can now be sold by Emballator Tectubes.

In collaboration with Swedish Plastic recycling company, we have also verified that the material is sortable. We actively work with innovative solutions to ensure the purity and safety of recycled plastic in our packaging.
