Meet Antonio Dzido –Planner

Antonio Dzido is one of our planners at Emballator. His role is crucial in ensuring that customer orders are efficiently scheduled into production. Antonio describes his work as follows:

“A planner is at the centre of much of the information that flows through the various departments, companies, and customers. We have a very good overview of what is happening and what will happen in the near future, thus we can help with many questions and problems and ensure that the customer receives their products on time.”

 

Every day, Antonio and his colleagues review all incoming orders and schedule them to the correct department and machine group. He ensures that all underlying materials are available so that production can take place on time. Additionally, he fine-tunes the run lists to maximize efficiency in the production lines. His work is not only important for keeping production running but also for ensuring that customers receive their products on time.

Antonio has had a fantastic development since he started at Emballator. With nine years as a machine operator under his belt, he has learned to keep all production lines running in the press department. During a period, he also had more responsibility where he trained his colleagues and set up the machines. This technical development has made him a valuable resource for the company.

What Antonio enjoys most about his job is piecing together all the orders that come in and finding solutions to the problems that may arise. His ability to take initiative, stay focused, and avoid stress are some of the most important qualities in his work. His advice to those who want to work in his profession is to listen more than talk and always strive to improve.

Outside of work, Antonio is a passionate music lover, especially of metalcore, and spends a lot of time at the gym. He is also interested in series, movies, and longboarding. Additionally, he makes incredibly good Spaghetti Carbonara. His dream is to be able to do pull-ups with +40 kg, and he has no more serious goals than that right now.
