Emballator participates in webinar about polymer recycling

As a part of the collaboration with Jönköping University, Emballator is participating in a webinar about polymer recycling. The webinar is a part of a project with the goal to provide quick and effective competence development.

Mats Jeppsson, Innovation Manager at Emballator Innovation Center, is leading the webinar together with Muhammed Irfan Qadeer, Assistant Professor in Polymers at Jönköping University. The focus of the webinar is the recycling challenges of polymers in general and packaging-grade polymers in particular. The webinar also includes mimicking synthetic polymer structures with biobased sources.

The webinar is specifically useful for Engineers, Environmentalists, End-users of plastic, Sales representatives, and everyone with an interest in polymer recycling.

“A key factor for the future is how to increase the willingness and ability for consumers to recycle packaging. It’s important to see the value of plastics and use the resources repeatedly. Brand owners and producers needs to focus on designing for recycling.
