New CEO at Emballator Växjö wants to see beyond the horizon
Posted 2021-08-17The core values of Emballator is one thing that made Richard Berg interested in Emballator. Since the beginning of August, he is the new CEO at Emballator in Växjö.
During his career Richard has had positions as Production manager, Site manager and CEO within different industries and companies. His wide background has one thing in-common: manufacturing industry. Now he will dive into the world of caps and closures together with the team and the highly automated production in Växjö.
“I’ve been welcomed in a very good way; people are very open and have a positive attitude. I can already tell that there’s a lot of competence and experience in the building. I believe we have a great foundation to build from.”
Continuous development is something that Richard believes is important. By developing business, products, techniques, and people he believes that a company can achieve long-term goals.
“I’m glad that Emballator is investing a lot in development of new materials that are sustainable. Focusing on sustainability can give us a great advantage in the market. This is also really important for both the society and industry”, says Richard and continues:
“Something that made me really interested in Emballator and Herenco is their core values and long-term approach. I believe that if you want to achieve profitability over time, you need to see beyond the horizon. It’s very easy to get caught in short-term decisions but if you lose the long-term view, it will be hard to reach the goals.”
Beyond leading companies Richard is passionate about alpine skiing, preferably in Austria. Spending time with family and friends is also important.
